In collaboration with our technical partners W2E Wind to Energy GmbH & WINDnovation GmbH from Germany, Adani Wind has developed India’s largest Wind Turbine Generator rated at 5.2 MW with a rotor diameter of 160m. Adani Wind’s 5.2 MW wind turbine features a rotor diameter of 160 meters with a swept area of 20,106 square meters and a tip height of 200 meters, making it one of the most powerful onshore wind turbines in the World. This Proto 1 installed in Mundra is now Type certified and is enlisted in MNRE's RLMM as India's highest capacity WTG to feature in the list.
